Nancy Williams:

 I have spent a good portion of my life in the north-central region of Michigan. I was born and grew up there. I am a recent transplant to Nevada as I now have 5 siblings living in Northern Nevada.

 I have one daughter who attends Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, and another who is a sophomore at Oasis Academy High School. 

 I have taught students in grades 1 through 12 and also worked for the University of Michigan for two years as a teacher trainer, facilitating science outreach throughout the state. In addition, I taught high school science while serving in the Peace Corps in the Fiji Islands. 

 When I'm not at school, I love spending time with family and friends, watching my daughter play volleyball and lacrosse, reading, hiking, travelling, and spending any time I can in nature. 

 I am looking forward to my third year as a teacher at Oasis. I love this school, the students, the parents and the staff. I'm so happy to be here!

 Mrs. Antoniono:

 I am originally from Chicago, Illinois.  I found myself in Fallon in 2011 because I married a Navy pilot.  But we absolutely love it out west and feel at home in Nevada.

 I taught a 3rd/4th grade accelerated program back in Chicago for 6 years, and then taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade math here at Oasis when we opened in 2011, and again last year.  I love working with this age of children!

 I have 2 little girls who both have red hair and who both keep me incredibly busy.  I am also happy to announce I'm due with baby #3 in December.  I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to teach part time so I can still be home with my little ones for quite a bit of the day.

 I enjoy participating in and coaching Kaia FIT.  I enjoy running and hiking.  And I really enjoying traveling, especially when that means I'm going to see family or friends.  
This is my 11th year in the classroom and I'm so happy to be back at Oasis!

Dear Fourth Grade Parents, We are so excited to begin this new school year with your children. We hope your families have had an awesome summer with many fun and relaxing times together. We wanted to explain what your child's day will look like and would also like to tell you a little about ourselves. We look forward to getting to know you as we go through the year. Mrs. Antoniono will be in our classroom from 8:00am - 12:30pm.  You will reach out to her if your child is sick, or running late, or you have any other beginning-of-the-day concerns.  First thing in the morning your children will have writing with Mrs. Hyde. Then they will be with Mrs. Antoniono doing math from 9:15am to 11:15am  (snack is from 10:15-10:30)..  After that, they will have reading with Mrs. Moon before their 12:30pm lunch break. 'Twas the week before Christmas

Happy Holidays to you and your family! I hope you have a wonderful break with a lot of together time in which you can build special memories. I also hope everyone in your family stays healthy!! During the coming week we will complete our Map project. Unfortunately, it has taken students much longer than expected to work on these maps and they have not been able to complete them in a way that will allow us to present them to their families as we had planned. We will be presenting them, no matter what point of completeness they have reached, to others here at school on Wednesday. I am disappointed that you will not get to see the results of their hard work, but I promise that they will be presenting other projects after the first of the year that you will be invited to see. On Thursday, we will spend the afternoon celebrating the season with a craft project, Secret Santa gift exchange, and possibly a movie. October, pictures and project

Good Evening! I'm sorry to say I forgot to send home pictures today as we were working on projects right until the last minute! I will be sure to send them home tomorrow. We have finished our first round of edits for the essays and the timelines. Those will both be completed this week, and students will start creating their models. I know they are looking forward to this next step. They have been real troopers with the research and we are all looking forward to the "fun" part of the project. They have learned soooo much! As they work on their plans for the models, they may be asking to bring some supplies in from home. Most supplies can be provided at school, but they may want some special items to add to their model. Thank you for your support in this.
