Project Update

Your children have been working hard to find information for our "Who Would Move to Nevada" project. It has been difficult for some of them and we are working slowly to find the information they need. We are hoping to finish our research this week.

We have had some wonderful speakers who have helped us understand some of the cultural aspects of our ancestors' lives. We greatly appreciate that insight.

By next week we hope to be building models of their group's lifestyle. When that time arrives, I will be sending home information about any contributions we may need from home. Thank you for your support!

Dear Fourth Grade Parents, We are so excited to begin this new school year with your children. We hope your families have had an awesome summer with many fun and relaxing times together. We wanted to explain what your child's day will look like and would also like to tell you a little about ourselves. We look forward to getting to know you as we go through the year. Mrs. Antoniono will be in our classroom from 8:00am - 12:30pm.  You will reach out to her if your child is sick, or running late, or you have any other beginning-of-the-day concerns.  First thing in the morning your children will have writing with Mrs. Hyde. 'Twas the week before Christmas

Happy Holidays to you and your family! I hope you have a wonderful break with a lot of together time in which you can build special memories. I also hope everyone in your family stays healthy!! During the coming week we will complete our Map project. Unfortunately, it has taken students much longer than expected to work on these maps and they have not been able to complete them in a way that will allow us to present them to their families as we had planned. We will be presenting them, no matter what point of completeness they have reached, to others here at school on Wednesday. I am disappointed that you will not get to see the results of their hard work, but I promise that they will be presenting other projects after the first of the year that you will be invited to see. Change in plans

The students seemed to really enjoy their introduction to Noodle yesterday. Unfortunately, there was a problem in getting the frog for today's dissection so we will be rearranging our schedule and dissecting either Thursday or Tuesday. Just an FYI!
